Just Closeouts/ It’s A Dollar
As the Project Manager I was responsible for going from a ‘vanilla box’ to operational store. Responsibilities included all aspects in seeing the store to fruition including interviewing, hiring, training, store layout, merchandising, security, ordering equipment and inventory, store planning and promotions. I was able to open our stores for 30% less than my predecessor and opened them generally within 8 weeks of the lease being signed on average a full 4 weeks sooner than my predecessor.
As the Project Manager, I was responsible for a number of other job duties including store resets, inventory, floor planning, ordering and merchandising.
KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

Decreasing new store openings costs by 30% and on average 4 weeks earlier than scheduled.

Working with vendors and buyers to set up a defective return program reclaiming tens of thousands of dollars in lost revenue.

Was directly involved in all company promotions and marketing, including print, radio and broadcast.

Through instituting a traveling in-store surveillance system we were able to capture a number of management and employees who were stealing from the company.
